Anna Madriaga

Hi! My name is Anna, and I am a second year university student at the University of Otago
studying anatomy.

I was raised in Auckland before moving to Christchurch. I graduated from Rolleston College,
excelling at English and Biology and with Excellence endorsements from NCEA level 1-3. I was
the second highest ranking student in English out of all my year in 2023. During my time in high
school I pushed myself to go out of my comfort zone and participate in math competitions and a
calculus scholarship exam. I have also done my fair share of taking care of children with special
needs and being a note-taker for students with disabilities in my first year of university.

Outside of academics, I am a club representative of the Anatomy club at my university. My hobbies include drawing and baking. I believe in helping develop understanding in students that is beyond just passing. I offer tutoring in Y9-10 General Maths and Science, Y11 Algebra, Y12 Calculus, and especially Y12-13 Biology and English.
