Eve Hyslop

Kia ora, my name is Eve Hyslop and I am currently an agricultural journalist with Stuff, The Press and NZFarmer based in Ōtautahi, Christchurch.

I grew up on a sheep and beef farm on the outskirts of Timaru and attended Craighead Diocesan School. I was very committed to my studies at high school, completing NCEA level 1, 2 and 3 endorsed with Excellence. For my year 12 studies, I was awarded runner up to top scholar for my year group.

My NCEA studies included English, History, Geography, Drama, Biology, Art and Statistics, though I find my strengths are mostly in English, History and Geography which I would be happy to tutor at any level.

When I’m not in my 9-5 job, you’ll find me spending time with friends and family at a new cafe spot, playing hockey or enjoying the outdoors. I also have experience in public speaking which I’d be happy to assist with. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to tutor students and help them achieve the best results in their studies!
