Amelia Meates

My name is Amelia and I attended Marian College from 2018 to 2022, leaving with excellence endorsements in levels 1, 2, and 3. I was the head of academics in my final year and through that role had a lot of involvement with organising and running tutoring programs among other things, such as a variety of clubs.

I was recognised for high achievement in mathematics, physics and accounting throughout high school with awards in prize giving along with excellence colours for each level of NCEA.

I am currently studying at the University of Canterbury for a bachelor's degree in science, majoring in financial engineering, this course involves mathematics, finance and computer science and I am really enjoying the course so far.
