Hugo Cohen

Kia Ora, my name is Hugo! I live in Christchurch and am in my second year at the University of Canterbury, studying for a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics. I previously attended Wellington College, where I achieved excellence endorsements in Levels 1, 2, and 3, along with scholarships in Calculus, Statistics, and Economics.

Beyond academics, I believe in maintaining a balanced lifestyle. I’m passionate about sports and stay active by playing Basketball and Ultimate Frisbee, as well as going on Tramping and Skiing adventures. I’m also an avid sports fan and love following the NBA, NFL, MLB, and football.

Helping others succeed in their studies is something I find incredibly rewarding. I have experience as a tutor and frequently assist my friends and siblings with their coursework. I can tutor Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics up to Level 3, as well as Physics up to Level 2, and other subjects at lower levels. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simpler concepts to help students gain confidence and improve their understanding.
