Amelia Lockhart

Kia ora, my name is Amelia and I am currently in my fourth year of a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Ecology) at the University of Otago. 

I grew up on a farm in Coroglen on the Coromandel Peninsula. I attended high school at Mercury Bay Area school where I was an academic leader and I received excellence endorsements for NCEA levels 1, 2 and 3. I took a wide range of subjects at high school including, Biology, Chemistry, English, Calculus, Statistics, Outdoor Education, Design and Visual communication and Painting. 

In my spare time I enjoy spending time out in nature, snowboarding, biking, horse riding, hiking or surfing as well as reading, listening to music and painting. 

In 2021, I was awarded the University of Otago Leaders of Tomorrow scholarship. I can tutor English and Biology at all levels. I have experience mentoring younger students and enjoy assisting others with their learning.
