Alliah Baniqued

Kia Ora! I’m Alliah, a dedicated third-year Bachelor of Science student at the University of Otago, majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Criminology.

My academic journey has been fuelled by a deep passion for understanding the complexities of the human brain and behaviour, coupled with a strong commitment to helping others thrive in their learning endeavours. Before embarking on my university studies, I attended Geraldine High School, where I served as Deputy Head Girl.

During my time there, I gained valuable leadership and mentoring experience through roles in peer support and tutoring. I was honoured to graduate with Excellence endorsements in NCEA Levels 1, 2, and 3, excelling in Biology, English, and History. I am passionate about making learning approachable, engaging, and rewarding. With a focus on tailored support,

I am excited to offer tutoring in Biology and English to Level 3, History to Level 1 and Science Lower levels. Drawing from my academic achievements, I aim to create a nurturing environment where students can build confidence, develop a love for learning, and achieve their goals.
