Rosie McAllister
Rosie is a 20-year-old soprano from Blenheim in her third year at the University of Otago. She is studying for a Bachelor of Music endorsed in Performance, under the tutelage of Dr Tessa Romano, and a Diploma of Languages in French.
During high school, Rosie excelled academically and musically, gaining the Marlborough Girls’ College Dux Award, the Cultural Achiever of the Year Award, and two University of Otago entrance scholarships whilst singing in the New Zealand Secondary Students’ Choir.
Now in her final year of undergraduate study, Rosie regularly performs as a soloist and conductor for local ensembles and sings in the New Zealand Youth Choir. She enjoys keeping fit through pilates and running alongside her many musical endeavours and studies. Rosie has three years of tutoring experience for NCEA students in Music, French, Mathematics and Biology.
